Trinity’s Shoot for the Cure to Benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
August 23, 2016
Trinity Precision is a proud supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF), attending and sponsoring numerous events over the past 10 years. This will be our third year hosting our own event, Shoot for the Cure, to raise money and help support CFF.
The event is a clay shoot competition that is held in the fall of each year at Shady Creek Shooting Range in Belle Plaine, KS. Shoot for the Cure consists of 20 teams of five shooters from suppliers and customers who purchase teams to help fund the event. We are proud to report that we earned more than $55,000 for the foundation over the last two years and are looking forward to our third annual event in September.
Hope to see you there!
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Mission Statement
The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a nonprofit donor-supported organization, is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatments, and ensuring access to high quality, specialized care.
When the CF Foundation was established in 1955, most children with CF did not live past elementary school. Due in large part to the Foundation’s aggressive investments in innovative research and comprehensive care, today, many people with CF are living into their 30s, 40s and beyond.
